Convocation program of 15th batch students of Toyota Technical Training Institute Parampujya Jagadguru Sri Shivratrideshikendra Mahaswamiji distributed graduation certificates to the students and wished them well.

Bengaluru , 08 August 2024: Toyota Technical Training Institute (TTTI ) today organized its 15th batch students convocation program in a grand manner. In this program, His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathrideshikendra Mahaswamiji distributed certificates to the students and wished them well.

58 TTTI students from rural background of Karnataka and 156 Toyota skill course students got certificate in this event. By completing the course students will acquire knowledge , skills , Along with developing body language and personality, they have received comprehensive skill training to imbibe global practices in the manufacturing sector.

The ceremony was attended by TKM Board of Directors , representatives of Toyota group companies , suppliers , representatives of Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) and National Skill Development Council (NSDC) , representatives of Toyota Technical Skill Academy-Japan , Toyota Indonesia Academy.

TTTI was started in 2007. Since then, rural areas have been used to impart knowledge on advanced technologies and prepare workforce as per the requirement of industries. Emphasis is placed on providing skills and development to the youth. The specialty of this program is 100% job guarantee for students. Students who have studied here have got excellent job opportunities all over Karnataka , India and abroad.

Toyota Company’s recently launched ‘ Toyota Skills ‘ program has also received good response. This program is ‘ Learn and Earn ‘. Through this method, the youth will be given an opportunity to learn business skills in the manufacturing sector. On-the-Job Training (OJT ) It enables hands-on learning while getting paid. Also, being part of the Japan India Institute for Manufacturing (JIM ) , TTTI teaches Japanese-style manufacturing skills and helps develop Japanese employment practices. By doing so, it works as a complement to the ‘ Skill India ‘ scheme of the Government of India.

Above all, TTTI strives to build an inclusive society by providing free training to rural , economically backward students of Karnataka. Due to the comprehensive training given over the years, the students have been able to achieve remarkable achievements in World Skill Competition , Indian Skill Competition. The Institute’s flagship programme, the Residential Training Programme, has developed knowledge , skills and physical and mental abilities , making TTTI recognized as a leading learning institution. The regular course of TTTI is a three-year residential course. Students study there. The Toyota Skills Program is a two-year residential course. Both these courses are designed with the objective of physical , mental , knowledge and skill development. So far 1,020 students have graduated from TTTI . Currently more than 810 students are being trained in vehicle assembly , welding , painting and mechatronics departments along with accommodation facility.

Out of the more than 1,000 rural youth trained by Toyota Technical Training Institute, 214 graduates today.” We are proud to announce that these graduates from different districts of Karnataka have got job opportunities in Toyota Kirloskar Motors and in international level departments such as Qatar , Jordan and Slovakia. said that.

He continued , ” Furthermore, we are working on setting up 65 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs ) and Government Toolroom and Training Centers (GTTCs ) in all districts of Karnataka . Additionally, we are focusing on training programs for principals and faculty , infrastructure support and culture building. Till now Toyota It has provided skill development training to 110,000 youth in India and is continuously providing employment opportunities thereby contributing significantly to the society and sustainable development goals . said that.

The graduates received many certifications including NAC ( National Apprenticeship Certificate ), ASDC Certificate and JIM and Toyota Certificate during the convocation program. To date, 1,020 students have graduated from this program and 452 Many have joined TKM. The remaining 568 Many have got jobs in conglomerates , supplier companies and overseas firms. These graduates have gained opportunity and qualification to join various companies in the industry.

Students of TTTI have already achieved considerable success in world skill competitions. He won 1 medal in 2015 in Brazil , 1 bronze and 1 medal in Abu Dhabi in 2017 , 1 medal in Russia in 2019 and 2 bronze medals in Germany in 2022. Participate in the Additive Manufacturing , Mechatronics and Manufacturing Team Challenge (MTC ) World Skills Competition to be held in France in September this year. In the section Will perform skill.
